The views from the hotel were beautiful, and the owners were really nice and attentive. The room could use renovation, the shower felt too small, and the bed was old and small. There was no air conditioning, but for the price it was a good place to stay.

The staff were helpful and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We had a quiet, comfortable weekend at the Balestié, with clean, warm rooms and a reasonable price.

We were right on the main St Jaques Comp path, with lovely views and lovely people. The food was great too. Once you've eaten enough, take your time here and stay the night.

Fresh air, wonderful mountain views, and a friendly atmosphere made this a lovely place to stay. The food was excellent.
