charmant studio bastide de Robinson N°1

The fast Wi-Fi, effective air conditioning, and roomy apartment were all good, and we had a really nice balcony. Staff were helpful and spoke excellent English. Being able to order croissants and other breakfast items was a great option. The pool was good, although shade was limited because several parasols were broken. The second “bedroom” was actually a mezzanine above the living room. We had no hot water for the first few days because a cupboard switch hadn't been turned on before we arrived. The floors were dusty and dirty, too. For four people, we were given just two bath towels. A bedding change cost €40.

The personal service was great, but the property itself feels dated and badly needs freshening up. Some apartments have tiny, boxy rooms, which is annoying. Watch out if you're staying on a special deal: they charge extra for on-site parking, and cleaning costs 40€ for each day you want it. I think that should be part of an apartment rental, since this isn't Airbnb, regardless of how low the price is. Daily cleaning isn't needed, but cleaning every other day or every second day should be included. The more extra charges there are, the less pleasant the stay.

The room was very roomy and comfortable, and the pool was nice. Unfortunately, nobody was at reception to welcome us. They left the hotel room key in a safe and gave us instructions for finding and opening it.

The staff were so kind and looked after us during our vacation. It's a great location by the rivage, and the prices are good. A super nice place to spend a few days on the Cote d Azur. I'd happily come back!
