I’m so glad I found this house again. I stayed here with my brother and parents in 1990 or 1991, when Mr. Calvet owned it. There were three other families living here besides the owners. He grew the most delicious cherry tomatoes instead of having a swimming pool, and there was a pétanque court. It’s changed so much since then!

The hosts were really friendly, and the pool was huge. From the balcony, sitting on that beautiful couch, the view is priceless. The place sits up on a mountain in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, with a feel that reminded me of California. All in all, superb!

The pool was lovely and warm, and the service was friendly. Just be aware that it's a long way to both the town center and the sea. You can see that in the photo I took from the terrace. Best wishes, and I'd recommend it to anyone after a peaceful break.
