We loved it on our second visit too. We spent two weeks in a chalet with great equipment, including a spa bath on the terrace, a hamam and a gym. Fresh bread and pastries or cake arrived every morning, and they were delicious. Try both dining at the restaurant and ordering room service. The room service is a proper cooked meal, served with care, not just a snack. If you're a cheese fan, have the local varieties. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. There are also plenty of places to eat in nearby towns, with a good range of food. They offer short all-inclusive stays as well.

The scenery is beautiful, and the staff bring tasty pastries to the chalet every day. But the restaurant is quite expensive and the WiFi isn't great. My chalet had no bathroom doors, which was really annoying and pointless, and the shower was right in front of the doorframe.

The peaceful setting and breathtaking scenery made this charming little hotel a great find. The food was excellent, and there are lovely hiking trails nearby.

I had a terrible experience with customer service. I sent a reservation request on March 2 for March 8 and 9, and got an automated email saying they'd contact me "shortly" to confirm availability. After waiting more than four days, I called the hotel on March 6. They said they'd reply right away, but several hours later I finally got an email saying one of the two nights wasn't available. That wrecked my mountain weekend. By then it was too late to book anywhere else; there was no availability, and the few places with rooms cost over 1000 euros a night. They must have more than enough business if they can treat customers this way. I doubt they care about guests having a pleasant stay, and suspect they're just after your money. Don't go there or make a reservation. They ruined my trip. Instead of skiing, I ended up staying in the city and writing reviews.
