The staff were lovely, and both dinner and breakfast were great. The rooms were comfortable, though white walls would make them feel fresher and more modern than the pale yellow or magnolia color. It’s easy to get to and works well for a night, but there isn’t much within walking distance, so the good restaurant is a real plus. We enjoyed sitting by the pool last year, and were sorry the weather kept us from doing that this time.

Lunch was a buffet with my group, but the chicken tasted so bad that I worried it might make me sick. Breakfast at the restaurant was good. There are no vending machines, and the receptionist charged me $5 for a small Pepsi. She said there was no Uber service, though there is one, and she did give me a map of the city. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

6/10
The hotel itself is very nice, with lovely grounds, a good restaurant, and a nice pool and spa. The food was excellent. But I was overcharged, and the fees weren't disclosed beforehand. The billing practices felt fraudulent. If you're from the USA, be careful. Without the billing issue I would have given the resort five stars, but I can't recommend it to Americans in good conscience.

The rooms were spacious and the hotel was comfortable, with easy access to the motorway network. Cleaning could have used a little more care. There also needed to be more staff on duty, though I understand costs are an issue in the current climate.

6/10
The spa was relaxing, the rooms felt luxurious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The pool area is okay, though small, with limited furniture. Breakfast options are limited, and the scrambled eggs didn't look fresh. WiFi was slow, with poor reception in some rooms. It's a modest hotel, but a bit old-fashioned.
