We had breakfast delivered to the room at the time we’d agreed on, and the croissants and baguette were perfect 😊. Our room was large, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed. The owner was friendly and welcoming, always greeting us with a warm smile. The hotel is right in the city center, close to a large secured public parking lot.

The rooms seemed nice when we looked at them, and the location and value also appeared good. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars, even though we ended up staying elsewhere. The prices changed while we were there: €69 at 4 pm, then €58 two hours later. Staff insisted on cash despite the photo clearly saying "credit card payment." On Booking.com, the manager also refused the transaction, saying the card didn't have enough funds, which wasn't true. We got another hotel. We understood that the owner wanted cash, and it's a shame the manager didn't just say so. Instead, he told us, "No, it's not strange, madam, it's your card, we checked twice." If he'd been straightforward and more welcoming, we would have stayed.
