Francois, Elise, and Max made our stop feel special, and we really appreciated their hospitality. We picked a chalet instead of camping because our gear was wet. It was an older place, but in good shape and exceptionally clean. Ours had four beds and plenty of room for our bikes. The food Max was organising looked great, though we'd already eaten in Confolens. The setting beside the Vienne River is spectacular, and the site was so quiet and serene. Manot village is just a short walk away. The camping area sits right beside the Vienne river, and there are chalets available to rent too.
