The gîte des Charmilles sits tucked off a country lane, surrounded by flowers and greenery, and the name really fits. It has an old-fashioned, slightly bucolic feel, like a lovely house from another time, but with all the comforts you need today. Everything was spotless and well equipped, and the quiet made it easy to enjoy time as a couple or with friends. Germaine and Régis took such good care of us and spoiled us beyond what we expected. We're grateful for all their thoughtful touches. A lovely little corner of Bresse to enjoy to the full.

The owners gave us a warm welcome, and the setting is wonderfully bucolic. It's a very comfortable, beautiful house with large, comfy beds and everything adults and kids need, from the fishing pond to the swing, ping-pong table, and foosball. Perfect for us, thank you 😊

We'll definitely come back. The owners were incredibly warm, and the quiet setting made the stay especially pleasant. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and really spacious, with a great base for trips to Macon, Bourg-en-Bresse, Beaune, Louhans, and even Lyon or Dijon. Carp fishermen will be in paradise.

We came for a long weekend and this comfortable cottage helped us leave the anxiety of 2020 behind and start the new year feeling more at ease. The place is magnificent and just as described. The owners were very welcoming, and their kindness came through while they still gave us space. We'll be back in warmer weather to enjoy the pond, where the geese and ducks live so peacefully.
