The location worked really well for visiting the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval, about 20 minutes away. We were greeted warmly by the owner, who was smiling and in good spirits. Our room was simple but clean, and the grilled meats at dinner were good.

Breakfast was the highlight for me: homemade jams, local apple juice, fresh pastries, and more. We skipped dinner because the restaurant mostly served meat. The managers were friendly, and the place had a relaxed, welcoming feel. Our room was nicely decorated, clean, quiet, and more pleasant than a chain hotel. It was fine for two or three nights. I slept well, though my neck felt a little sore in the morning. I like a slightly firm mattress, but I need a good soft pillow.

The pizza we had on Wednesday evening was fantastic, and huge! We stayed at Le Pic Boeuf from Tuesday to Thursday for two nights, and were welcomed so warmly. It was excellent value for money, and breakfast was delicious. The Palais Idéal is 15 minutes away, Peaugres Safari Park is 40 minutes away, and there are other really great activities nearby. We had a wonderful stay and will be back. Don't hesitate to book!

Breakfast was generous and served in our room, and the price was very reasonable. It's a charming little hotel, quiet, with a lovely, very relaxing park next door. We received a really warm welcome. I highly recommend it.
