The homemade breakfast was scrumptious, and the hosts were so warm and welcoming. I liked the cool room with its French cinema feel, plus the pull-down DVD screen and the deck lit up for relaxing outside. I was there for work, but I'd love to come back for a holiday.

Thierry helped us discover local pear cider and Calvados, and Alexandra's breakfasts were lovely, especially the rhubarb tart. We spent two wonderful days in a peaceful spot in the heart of authentic Normandy. There are so many places still to explore, among the cows grazing beneath apple and pear trees, so we'll definitely return.
