The shared lounge and terrace gave the stay a bit of charm, and there was a good variety of breakfast options. The rooms were spotless and really comfortable. We got a warm welcome, and the staff were so attentive. Special thanks to Tarik for being kind and for the helpful local recommendations. The cottage was cold at the end of September, with no extra heating, and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There's no duvet, and the toilet doesn't accept toilet paper. The staircase up to the second floor is winding and dangerous, with no handrails. The cottage is on the owner's property, and to reach it you have to pass his house through a very narrow passage and close the gate. The owners speak very little French, and I felt watched at every turn. You don't feel comfortable there, so be aware. I really don't recommend it.

We rented the cottage for the week of August 15, 2023, with four of us, our five-month-old baby and a dog. We weren't especially demanding, but after staying in many guesthouses, we've definitely had better. We ended up leaving after just one night. The two bedrooms are in the attic upstairs, where it gets unbearably hot in mid-August. With skylights, there was no real way to air the rooms, even at night. Sheets cost €10 per person, so €20 for a double bed felt outrageous. The cleanliness overall wasn't good, and the dishwasher was in terrible shape, with mold inside. The cottage sits right on the owner's property, so you have to walk past her front door every time you come or go. She doesn't speak any French, which made communication difficult. The dog costs €5 per day, even though her own dog roams freely around the property. If your dog doesn't get along with other dogs, it can't go outside. Farm animals also roam freely, so keep that in mind, though children might enjoy it.
