Le Platane

Krista is wonderfully kind and helpful, and deserves credit for taking such dedicated, skilled care of this beautiful hamlet. Her loyal companion Gin is adorable, too. It’s a peaceful place, just right for recharging. Highly recommended!

We found this place at the last minute through Booking.com, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise. It’s authentic, peaceful, and beautifully landscaped with flowers. We didn’t have time for a swim, but the pool was clean and crystal clear. The owner greeted us warmly and explained clearly how everything worked. She was very attentive to guests’ comfort. We slept well, the bedding was comfortable, and the room was clean and practical. The guard dog did his job and was sociable; we didn’t hear him bark all night. The owner also explained how to behave around him, and we appreciated her fascinating explanation of dog training. We liked the authenticity of the place and the people who run it, and would be happy to return.

Gin, the adorable house dog, joined us for breakfast on the terrace. Even people who aren’t keen on dogs might be won over, speaking from personal experience. The house sits in the middle of a stunning, peaceful property, and our bedroom was spacious. The swimming pool was very pleasant. The charming owner made us feel incredibly welcome and saw to it that we had everything we needed.

The rooms are large and kept in perfect shape, and the bed was comfortable. The setting is so relaxing, and the welcome was wonderful. Our host and Gin were both lovely and attentive. Thanks again for the breakfast and a great stay ☀️👌
