We woke up in their best “panoramic view” room to a disgusting smell, likely from degrading seaweed, of H2S and ammonia that seemed toxic. The website doesn’t mention it. Emma, the claims manager, said, “we are not responsible for it and our owner shares the same opinion.” Their policy is never to refund, and it can’t be reviewed. Maybe that’ll change when someone has to leave in an ambulance.

The staff were exceptionally kind, and having sunbeds included in the price added to our enjoyment. Breakfast was quite good too, apart from the orange juice, which didn’t taste fresh and seemed like syrup mixed with water. The hotel was satisfactory, and we had a pleasant stay.

The room was very small, and shrubs blocked the view from the breakfast and dinner area. There were holes in the towels, a spider web in the corner of our balcony, and the toilet didn’t flush properly. One button kept sticking and caused water to drip. The staff were nice and willing to help.

We never got to make the trip. I was in an accident and hospitalized the day before, so I tried to change the dates with the hotel manager. She said the nonrefundable payment meant they couldn’t change them, and kept my €2,000. I’d call that short-sighted and greedy. It’s not somewhere I’d want to stay.

You can enjoy the private beach without much crowd or noise, and the water is warm and welcoming. There’s another beach bar nearby for more options. It’s a beautiful place to spend time with loved ones. The hotel is right on the beach, has tasteful interiors, and the staff are helpful.
