Residence Castell' Verde

The studio vue mer was clean and in good shape, and the residence itself is beautiful and well maintained. We loved the whole stay, and it looked even better than when we visited years ago. For clearer communication, I suggest sending emails in both French and English. It would also help to show extra charges, like final cleaning and tourist city tax, in the same large, bold red font on the confirmation email. Thank you.

I deeply regret booking this place, and I won't stay here again. I've traveled around much of Europe and Asia, and this was the most absurd stay I've had. We booked through Agoda.com six months ahead for three nights for me and my fiancée, but on arrival they asked for €40 for housekeeping, a €300 deposit in case we damaged the room, and another €40 for city tax. None of these extra fees had been mentioned when we reserved. We had nowhere else to stay unless we paid, so we felt cornered. They didn't give us receipts until we specifically asked, and the front desk card terminals declined our debit and credit cards without explaining why. There weren't any shower towels in the room. Reception offered some for €6 each. There wasn't even a bar of soap or shower gel. I've never had such a bad welcome, and the staff could have handled things so much better. For the money, we got less than half the service we'd get in Greece or Turkey, for example. This is unacceptable, and the destination felt like a huge scam.

Parking, a great location, and really nice staff. The most beautiful beach in Corsica is only 10 min. away. Perfect, perfect, perfect. If you want a perfect holiday, come here!

A lovely beach is within walking distance. It's a quiet, family-friendly place in a great location.
