Chambres d'hôtes au verger de Marcilly

Nemo was adorable, and the owner is such a lovely person to spend time with. We had a wonderful weekend in this green little haven, with sunshine the whole time. The room was comfy, the bathroom pretty, and there was a small lounge area. We could use bicycles too, and breakfast had a really friendly feel. Thank you for a fantastic stay! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

We left before staying because we weren't given details about the room, and the bathroom wasn't private as the description said. There were things on its shelves. The owner was absent, and when we called, he didn't seem concerned about the problem. The kitchen was in a pitiful state. The fridge inside was filthy, and so were the microwave and coffee maker. The floor, doors, and sink were dirty too, and we really didn't want to eat breakfast there. We booked through Booking.com for 80 euros a night with breakfast, and at that price I expected at least a clean place. It's listed as two stars, and we wondered how it got that rating. It's a place to avoid, even though the region is beautiful. I have to give it 1 star, though it doesn't even deserve that.

We’ll be back. It’s a beautiful place, and the owner is really friendly. A great fit for golfers, hikers, mountain bikers, or anyone who enjoys nature and old stone buildings.

The welcome was warm, and the room was new and clean. A pleasant stay out in the countryside, with very good value for money. It works well for a tourist trip or a golf break, with an excellent course nearby.
