Logis Auberge De La Tour

My family was amazed by this lunch. The food was creative, refined, and original, and the staff and chef/owner were so available. For the quality of the culinary experience, it was good value. Better than a two-star restaurant I'd tried before!

The staff were very helpful throughout my stay, and the rooms were clean with well-maintained amenities. A wonderful place to stay, with a great experience overall.

We stopped in for lunch a couple of days ago, and it was a real feast for the palate. The food was excellent and creative, and the wine list impressed us too, with a fine Sommelier to guide us. The chef and waiters were professional while still being friendly. We highly recommend it and will make it a sure stop next time we're in the area.

The restaurant deserved its Michelin one star, and the service was superb. The room's sparseness surprised me, since it didn't match the other five-star hotels we've stayed in. There wasn't comfortable furniture, though the bed was perfect. The other furnishings, including the bathroom and toilet, felt surprisingly sparse too. I was especially surprised that the toilet opened straight into an occupied space and had no basic air extractor system. Some context may matter, since this was mainly a room adapted for wheelchair access. Still, people who use wheelchairs are entitled to significant luxury given the hotel's classification and price.
