L'Hacienda

The rooms could use a refresh, though that does add to the charm. We also found ants in our room, but this was dealt with and will probably be sorted soon. The pool is lovely and heated, but it's 2 meters deep all over, so not great for children. Breakfast was generously served, more than enough to get the day started. The setting is perfect and so peaceful, and the managers are incredibly friendly. We enjoyed talking with the gentleman, who is wonderful. The lady is very professional, and despite first appearances she's very kind and goes out of her way to make sure you have a good time. Thank you!

Breakfast was generous, with organic and homemade products, and the pool was fabulous. This is a peaceful, tranquil place, with a magnificent setting that's impeccably kept. Given how large it is, that must take a lot of work! We were welcomed so warmly and thoughtfully. The room was spotless, with typical Provençal decor, and the bathroom was clean though a little dated. I highly recommend it and hope to return.

Three years later, I still miss the Chef's house-smoked salmon. Breakfast is worth the price: they bring lovely baskets with everything you need for a great start, on the terrace overlooking the idyllic setting. One morning I might have spotted a squirrel while admiring the garden ❤️ The rooms are cleaned every day. Management is well organized, maybe a little too much in the pursuit of perfection. A huge thank you to Dominique and Jean-Jacques for an unforgettable 2-month stay with my partner Patricia. The time we spent together and your faces are etched in my memory. This is an edited review for a stay of nearly 3 months in June 2020. The original text also mentions that there's little chance of losing sight of them, parents nearby, and says to bring floats because the pool is relatively deep, probably too deep for the youngest children.

The Hacienda is spacious and peaceful, with a lovely garden and a huge pool. It feels like time has stopped, with colorful Provençal decor, comfortable king-size beds, and a kind, helpful hostess. Breakfast is varied and generous, served at the table. Some rooms have private terraces, and they're well equipped with a hair dryer, towels, soap, shower gel, coffee maker, kettle, TV, outlets, wardrobe and desk. My room had no shutters, so as someone sensitive to light I woke far too early. The bathroom fixtures were dusty, perhaps because the room hadn't been rented for a while. The toilet was tiny, the room smelled musty, and the soundproofing was poor. I could hear everything from upstairs, plus a machine or plumbing making noise all night. For what I experienced, the room price felt high. I'd recommend staying several nights to enjoy the location and pool. For just one night it seems expensive, since there's little time to make use of what justifies the price. Ask for a room with shutters if that matters to you. It's not a modern, new, sterile kind of place, but you can still have a great stay at the Hacienda.
