In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel. The homemade jam, local honey, and fresh fruit made breakfast delicious. The cottage stayed clean and cool even during the heatwave, and the host was so friendly that we felt at home as soon as we arrived. A peaceful little Burgundy retreat, I’d recommend it completely.

The room was huge, and the bathroom, though a little dated, was very clean. Being near the railway turned out not to be an issue, since no trains ran at night. The garden was lovely, the meals were very good and worth reserving, and the lady who welcomed us was extraordinarily kind. Many thanks for having us.
