The welcome was pleasant, but we were very disappointed with the rest of the stay. Our room and terrace hadn't been cleaned, the pool was unavailable, and the mini-golf was overgrown and full of toads. The set menu, despite our booking the "Relais des Gourmets" package, was barely lukewarm and fell short of expectations. Breakfast was minimal. We would avoid this place.

The reception staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good, as was the room service. Our room was clean and had a bath towel and shower. The place could use some updating, and there's no restaurant.

The staff were very attentive, and breakfast was genuinely generous. The owner is a lovely gentleman. We enjoyed the pool, which was in perfect condition, and the golf course too. It could use some renovation, but the grass was mown and the kids had a great time. Our room hadn't been renovated and felt a bit dated, though it was spacious. The bedding was decent, and we all slept well despite my worry about back pain from other reviews. The menu wasn't quite right for children. We don't usually feed them only pasta and fries, but on holiday we don't want a "you won't leave the table until your plate is finished" approach. The setting is peaceful, secluded among hills, fields, forests, and cows, with a lovely smell of greenery, yet Sarlat is less than 15 minutes away. We chose Domaine de la Condamine as a central base for a week's visit to the area's sights, including Padirac Chasm, Proumeyssac Chasm, Lacave Cave, Prehisto Dino, Rocamadour, the Monkey Forest, Gramat Zoo, Roc Saint-Christophe, Castelnaud Castle, Plambuisson Gardens, Lascaux, and Tourtoirac Cave. We only wish we had stayed another week. We were so busy exploring that we didn't get enough rest or pool time. We'd be happy to return.

The saltwater pool is pleasant, and the pool problems have been sorted out. Food is simple, hearty, local, and excellent, and breakfast is continental with something for everyone. Wi-Fi isn't great, but it's useful. The hotel is gradually being renovated, which explains the mixed reviews: some south-facing rooms are updated with air conditioning and walk-in showers. It's quiet and peaceful, with excellent value for money and a great location for visiting the region's prehistoric sites.

It's peaceful and luxurious here, surrounded by the Périgord greenery, and a lovely place to relax. I've returned to this hotel for a few years and have never been disappointed. The manager is friendly, competent, and very attentive to guests. The half-board menus are excellent, made with high-quality local products and prepared with real care. My room was decent and clean, and the bedding was impeccable. I highly recommend it.
