The owner made the building and decor by hand, which is pretty amazing. We spent about a week here on a work trip and worked our way through the menu. Everything was good, and the owner and wait staff were really patient with our limited French. I’d happily come back for dinner anytime.

There are a lot of spiders around, and some of the side activities are disappointing. The mini golf in particular is terrible, especially since they charge for it. Still, the countryside is beautiful, and the place has a colorful, natural look unlike any hostel I’ve seen. I heard an artist designed the rooms. If you need somewhere to stay out here, it’s a good option.
