Au Bois Dormant

We felt comfortable everywhere in this magnificent house, and our few days at Le Bois Dormant were magical. Dominique and Catherine are generous, kind hosts. Their hard work restoring this Charente farmhouse shows in the tasteful result. The Rosée du Matin room was spacious and very well equipped for someone with reduced mobility like me. We also loved lingering over breakfast in the beautiful breakfast room.

The quiet and charm of this little corner of paradise were such a pleasure for us Parisians. Catherine and Dominique gave us a very warm welcome and looked after us so well. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with charming decor, and we enjoyed a generous homemade breakfast. There was even free Wi-Fi, so we could stay connected while away from home. Thanks for everything and all the best. We highly recommend the place and will be back very soon.

We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay. The room was tastefully furnished and just right for resting, and our host was thoughtful and helpful, showing us around when we arrived.
