Domaine de la Tourmentine

The grounds are lovely, with lots of open space for everyone to unwind, a play area, loungers for reading beneath the old trees by the river, and a magnificent pool. Florence and Paul were friendly and gave us privacy. The cottage was spotless, and the Covid health and safety measures were in place. We felt at home in the very spacious, tastefully decorated cottage. It was a superb stay, and we’ll be back. Thanks again!

We loved the mountain countryside atmosphere, and the gentle Mistral was a relief during the heatwave. The kids, from 7 to 17, had a great time. At Gîte Ancelle, the scenery is lovely and the cicadas were singing when we arrived. Florence and Vincent were friendly, helpful, and discreet. The gîte is superb, with modern decor, comfortable beds and sofa, a spacious living area, and all the comforts you could need. They’d even thought to provide fans. We also enjoyed the pool and playing pétanque beside it. I highly recommend it.

We stayed in the holiday home from May 15th to 28th, 2022, and found the area fantastic for cycling. Montélimar and Valence are close enough to visit, and Florence and Paul were pleasant, friendly, and helpful hosts. During the second week, we especially appreciated being able to sit and eat outside on the side sheltered from the Mistral. We were unlucky with the overhead internet line, which was broken, and France Telecom didn’t seem to care. That was a nuisance. My husband uses a wheelchair and would have appreciated a second fold-down grab bar in the adapted toilet. All the best for the future, Florence and Paul! Anita and Daniel, Switzerland.

We visited for a girls' trip in April 2016. The location is beautiful and great for peace, relaxation, and sunshine. The cottage is spacious, nicely decorated, and well equipped, with activities for the whole family and a large garden. The owners are very friendly and easygoing.
