Les Chambres d'Andréa

We were seven people and Stephanie made us feel welcome from the start. She was easy to reach with questions and helped us sort out arrivals and departures, so we felt really looked after. The rooms were charming and spotless, and breakfast was a feast. The waterfront, shops and restaurants are just a short walk away. A hidden gem for anyone coming to this lovely town. We also loved the ice creams from Stephanie's shop!

We had a very spacious room on the second floor, with a big comfortable bed and a good quality sofa bed for my son. A sliding door let us close off the bedroom from the living area, so it worked like two bedrooms. The only thing to bear in mind is the spiral staircase, which could be awkward with large or heavy suitcases. Restaurants by the port and shops in the town centre are just a few minutes' walk away. Breakfast was lovely on the patio. There's secure off-road parking for bikes and several cars, and the keypad entry system worked well.

We could lock our bikes in the garage, which was handy after riding down the canal du midi and staying two nights in two rooms. The rooms had everything we needed, including a mini fridge, tea and coffee, a corkscrew, a generous closet with shelves and hanging space, and a bathroom radiator that warmed the towels. I appreciated the soap, shampoo and body cream, plus real glasses instead of paper cups. The hotel has stylish decor, a garden with a pool, and a lovely breakfast with fresh oj. They also own the glaciere in the port, where we had delicious ice creams, milk shakes and crêpes.

We've stayed in Marseillan several times, but this was easily our best visit. Stephanie and Phillipe looked after us so well, and both the property and furnishings were top quality. Even the snack we ordered for the garden felt like a treat. Try the pistachio ice cream, it's excellent.
