I booked through booking and received a confirmation, but when I arrived late in the evening, the hotel told me there was some kind of system problem and no room for me. Finding somewhere else at short notice cost a lot. I complained to booking afterward, but getting anywhere has been difficult. I've had to call many times, and I still don't know if I'll get my money back because the hotel never confirmed what happened. No joke, they want to keep my money. booking doesn't seem to investigate much or care whether the hotels it represents are scamming people.

They offered me a room that hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest, and someone else's belongings were still in it. The host told me she doesn't accept bookings made through booking.com and didn't know how to check incoming reservations on the site, despite the place being listed there. This felt like an accommodation with no real management at all. They clearly don't know how a hotel or hostel should work, and with that complete lack of management, it doesn't seem to be operating properly. Never book here, these booking.com scammers aren't worth the risk.

The room smelled of cigarettes and was really noisy. Things looked broken and dirty, and the internet gave us trouble. The manager wouldn't even try to fix it. Staff joked to our faces because we didn't speak French, and there was no tourist information. They also didn't know how, or didn't want, to give advice about beaches. A horrible place, avoid it at all costs.

There's no sink in the toilet, and no toilet in the room.
