Romain made check-in easy, shared useful city tips, and gave us a small welcome amenity. We even got into our room early, which we appreciated. The staff were warm, helpful, and informative, and the lobby coffee machine and water dispenser were thoughtful touches. It's tucked into a quiet alley behind a main street, so the hotel feels peaceful while staying central. It's also an easy short walk from the main train and bus station, including the direct airport bus, and easy to find. A very pleasant stay, and I'd definitely come back.

The location works well: the main train station is close, the tram is a block away, and the old port is a 10-minute walk. Breakfast had a good range of sweet and savoury items, though the bacon ran out quickly and there wasn't enough for the number of guests. Customer service at breakfast was good. Our first room, room 604, had a very loud bathroom vent, so we had to move. It shouldn't have been offered before the vent was fixed. Check-in was also a letdown for a 4-star hotel. There was only one agent at first and the wait was too long; another came over once people were waiting at the counter. One agent was very blasé, and we got little information about the hotel or area. That made a poor first impression. It's a solid 3-star option if you don't pay full price, but the check-in experience needs work.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, the beds were great, and the staff were wonderfully welcoming and helpful. It's a quiet little hidden gem, about 10 minutes from the port, with lovely cafés and restaurants all around. I'd absolutely stay again.

The bed was comfy and the room was lovely. It's a gorgeous little hotel right in the middle of everything. I'm glad I picked Hotel Ligo for my weekend in Marseille, and I'd stay again.

The rooms were still comfortable and the location was nice, but I usually like Happy Culture hotels and this one wasn't as clean as the others. Coffee and towels were missing from the room, the cleaning wasn't done properly, and staff were slow to respond to our requests. There's room for improvement.
