Our room had a huge outdoor patio overlooking the sea, and there’s a rooftop bar and restaurant with lovely sea views. The public beach is right next door. The hotel is modern, clean, and tastefully decorated, with friendly staff. We’d stay here again.

We only went to the restaurant for dinner, not the hotel. The meal was okay at best, and felt overpriced and overhyped. It was a disappointing pick for a birthday celebration. The stay at Novotel was very comfortable.

We had a fantastic time in the junior suite, and the restaurant and staff were good. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and we hope to come back. One small tip for guests: the yellow X-marked spaces across the street are useful for unloading luggage.

The rooftop pool was left unattended, with around six old chairs and bird droppings along the edge. The small heated pool in the basement, which they call a spa, also seemed unattended. We didn't eat breakfast, though the buffet looked limited and middling. The rooms are extremely cramped, with hardly enough space to walk around the bed. There’s no parking, driveway, porter, or help with bags, and the busy street has nowhere safe to stop. Getting luggage out of the car feels risky with cars and bikes passing by. The public parking garage is an eight-minute walk and costs about €45 a night. This hotel is way overpriced for what it offers.

The staff and food were first rate, especially the restaurant's creative seafood. Our room had a little terrace and faced the sea, like all the rooms. From the small cliff above the Mediterranean, the hotel has the feel of a modern villa, and the sunset was beautiful. The room and bathroom had excellent fit and finish. We were right by the elevator and never heard it.
