The sheets at least looked clean, and that's about all the praise I can manage. The entrance was untidy and unwelcoming. The room was run down, with scuffed paint, exposed wires, and stains on the walls and tables. The bathroom was in the room, with the toilet behind a curtain, while the shower was shared and in a separate part of the 'hotel'. I was too worried about what I might find to go there. I also felt intimidated by the area, even as a fairly big man. Someone tried to sell me drugs on the walk back one night, and locals gathered in the square outside each night, drinking and making noise until the early hours. I'd be especially concerned for a woman on her own there in the evening. I can't be certain, but after staying there I had bites all over me, so I can see why another reviewer mentioned bed bugs. I wanted a few days in the sun, but this was an awful hotel. Calling the room basic would be generous. I'd have been better off with a youth hostel, a chain hotel for a little more money, or even sleeping rough. Avoid it.

The place felt unsettling, not decent at all. The listing on Booking makes it seem like a modest but acceptable hotel, but it looks more like an abandoned building being passed off as mid-range lodging. It smelled of mold, the sheets were ripped, the towels were moldy, and there was one shared shower for all the rooms. I could hear rats running through the walls. I don't have words for how poor the hygiene and basic decency were. 1/100. Don't stay here unless your only other choice is sleeping under a bridge.

We had a lovely, clean room with a big, comfortable bed. The hotel was great, and breakfast was wonderful. Marianna, the waitress, was especially kind and helpful.

The room didn't look anything like the listing, and the whole place seemed to be falling apart. I could barely get the door shut, and some room doors had holes kicked in them. It was the creepiest, sketchiest hotel I've seen. I only needed one night in Marseille, but as soon as I reached my room I booked somewhere else. I couldn't make myself stay even one night. Do not stay here. -1000/5.

My workplace booked me in for three nights, but after arriving there after dawn, I left as soon as I could and booked another hotel. While I was speaking through the intercom, someone took my luggage and disappeared. The room was disgusting, and seeing the shower room made me decide to leave. The location is terrible, and this hotel shouldn't be operating.
