Ibis Marseille Centre Euromed

The place was really good, and the rooms were nice. The staff were very polite too. But the chicken was awful, and the food in general was pretty bad.

The reception staff were helpful, the room was nice, and the location very good. The breakfast and the restaurant staff, though, were so poor that I gave the hotel three stars. There was food missing between 9:00 and 10:00, and they didn’t replenish anything from 9:00 onward. One day the cucumbers were rotten; another day there were no tomatoes or other vegetables. There weren’t any pancakes, even though they’re store-bought. When we asked, they brought out cold ones. At 9:58, with breakfast ending at 10:00, I’d never seen staff collecting cutlery from jars of food. It was a disgusting experience that cost 45 EUR for three people.

It was okay for a night, and breakfast was fine, but I wouldn’t return. The room wasn’t very comfortable, with a plastic floor, an uncomfortable bed, and air conditioning that didn’t work.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and a tram stop was nearby. There were also seats and a few charging ports in the lobby. Reception was friendly. One evening around 8, I tried the restaurant. The woman at the bar said someone would come over after I asked if I could sit down. I waited for quite a while, but nobody showed up, so I left.
