One star only because I can’t give zero. At 70, climbing five flights of stairs each time was a lot, and there’s no lift. The WiFi was awful, too. During my two-night stay I had to log back in five times. There was no wastepaper bin, the towel rail was coming off the wall, and there were plenty of other problems.
It was an okay stay. The room was clean, though very dated, and both the room and the area had a strange smell. There’s no elevator, so I hope you don’t end up on the fifth floor.
The room for three was small, and the water took about five minutes to warm up. The hotel feels very low-end, even though it’s close to the port.
The staff were kind by Marseille standards, and the place was clean. Rooms are small, really small, and there’s no elevator.
Stay away. Choosing this hotel would be the worst mistake you could make.
