The bistrot worked really well with a baby. The staff brought our food quickly and found us a quiet corner so we wouldn’t disturb the other diners. They were warm and helpful throughout, and breakfast in the room was fab. I had the best omelette I’ve ever eaten, and enjoying it on the terrace was worth the price, even though breakfast is expensive and not included in the room rate, as is common at most five-star hotels these days. I was surprised by the poor ratings. My six-month-old and I had a great stay. Our terrace room was spacious, with loungers, a table and chairs, a banquette, and room to take the pouffes outside. The terraces could have had more privacy, as some reviews say, but that didn’t take away from how relaxing the space was. The pool area is beautiful and restful, though small. It’s a shame the parking lot hasn’t been turned into another sun terrace, especially since most people are too scared to drive down the narrow road to get there. I also don’t agree with the complaints about private beach access. The famous Malmousque rocks and beach are amazingly close. I’ll definitely return, and I’m looking forward to trying the three-starred restaurant.

The service was professional, if a little too formal at times, and the hotel has a lovely sea view. Everything feels luxurious and carefully considered. It’s a great experience for a special occasion, though quite expensive for what you get.

We’re looking forward to the Michelin three-star meal tomorrow. The room is superb, with a beautiful view of the sea. The staff have been super friendly and helpful, and the location has the best view in Marseille. I’m glad we stayed here instead of Four Seasons Hotel. It’s much better than most five-star hotel chains. Highly recommended.

The room was the biggest letdown. I paid over 1k a night for the romantic suite sea view Traquandi, but its balcony didn’t match the one shown when I booked. The service was poor too. One receptionist never smiled while I was there and wouldn’t let me take a phone charger to my room. When I asked if breakfast was included, she said yes, but I was charged for parts of my meal. If some items weren’t included, she should have explained that. Based on the service, I’d call this a three- or maybe four-star hotel. I was mostly dissatisfied with the misleading room photos and the poor service. I’d recommend The Intercontinental instead of Le Petit Nice Passedat.

The room was spare but stylish, and the place felt relaxed and understated despite all the stars. Dinner was a memorable, truly three-star delight: a multi-course, seafood-focused meal with each dish beautifully plated, impeccably served, and delicious. If you choose the full tasting menu, expect to spend a few hours at dinner. It was one of the finest meals I’ve had, and one of the best along the Cote D’Azur. A great meal and a great evening.
