Le Ryad Boutique Hôtel

The stairs are intense, so keep that in mind when choosing a room. We had one all the way upstairs, and a lower floor might suit some people better. Still, Le Ryad was a great base for our five days in Marseille. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and air conditioned. Omar stayed up for our late arrival, made sure we got in safely, and even helped carry our luggage upstairs. The hotel is central and close to public transit and the train station. Thanks for a great stay!

The fourth-floor climb was a workout, but worth it for the little balcony off our room. The staff were lovely, too. We really liked this cool corner of Marseille, with a bike shop around the corner and great restaurants just up the street. If you're disabled, make sure to book the accessible room downstairs.

The breakfast was a highlight, and the staff were very helpful. We were on the fourth floor, quite a climb, but it was worth it. This small, central hotel gives you a good feel for Marseille beyond just seeing it as a tourist. Its location is ideal for enjoying the city and all it offers. We had a wonderful stay at Le Ryad.
