The night I spent in this place was a nightmare. My apartment was filthy, crawling with bugs and cockroaches. There were huge roaches in the fridge and bathroom, and two girls I spoke with had switched rooms because they found bugs all over their beds. I later read lots of reviews about the same problem. The staff keep replying to complaints that they'll take care of it, but they absolutely don't. They even ask for a deposit in case guests damage something, while people get damaged staying here. Do not book a room or apartment here. It's absolutely disgusting.

The metro line 2 station is right outside, making it easy to get to the central station, the Marseille stadium, and other good areas. It’s an economical place to stay, and the rooms have a small kitchen, fridge, and sink, handy for keeping food and cooking. There’s no A/C, so staying here on summer or sunny days isn’t a great experience. I also spotted a couple of bugs in the room.

The room smelled of sewage and had cockroaches everywhere. It was dirty, too. All of that for 60€ a night! The management must be hallucinating to think this place deserves to be called a hotel at that price.

The location made getting around easy, especially with the metro right nearby, and the Old Port is about a two-mile walk. The breakfast was pretty good too. Staff were helpful and happy to let me practice my French, answering my questions along the way. For the price, it was a good place to stay. Merci beaucoup!

The staff were kind and understanding, but that was the only positive for me. The room looked nothing like the photos and was dirty in the corners and wardrobe, with renovation clearly needed. There were ants and lots of cockroaches; staff knew about them but said cleaning one room just meant the cockroaches moved to another. In summer, the single small fan wasn't enough to make the room sleepable. The area felt unsafe at night and was quite far from the centre. For what it was, the price was far too high, and I wouldn't recommend it.
