New Hotel of Marseille

The team were helpful with a few personal issues, always smiling, and the service was great from the first welcome through checkout. There's a great workspace for business meetings and a top view of the port. Looking forward to coming back.

The hotel is near a wooded area, so wildlife can get into the terrace and pool areas. Our room was comfortable, though dated, and parts of the hotel could use an update. The menu was limited, but the food we ordered was very good. Local restaurants compete strongly, so the smaller menu makes sense. The reception, catering, bar, and room service teams gave us attentive service throughout, with nothing to fault.

The breakfast came with a really nice view of the old port and Mucem. The bed was wonderful, and the room had a lot of space for France. Everything else was very good too, though the hallway carpet and dated room furniture need changing. For such a big hotel, together with Sofitel, the fitness center is a real shame because it's so small.

The rooms are basic, but the location, great view from the nearby bar and restaurant, and lovely service are what you're paying for. It's perfectly placed. If you eat at the restaurant, get the fish. You're on the coast, after all. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel!
