The room was clean and had a nice view toward the water, but it was noisy enough that I couldn’t sleep because of the waves. The hand soap was empty too. The payment situation was a mess. I’d booked one night, with payment due on arrival, but was told at the hotel they couldn’t accept Apple Pay and needed my physical card. That hadn’t been mentioned during booking. I had no physical bank card and could only pay with Apple Pay, yet the receptionist said he had no option except to cancel my reservation. I explained I’d come from Amsterdam and had nowhere to stay, but he kept saying he couldn’t help. After I asked him to call his manager, the manager said Apple Pay was okay and that they wouldn’t take a deposit. Then, while I was paying, the receptionist said they had to take 200 euros for a one-night stay. He called the manager again, who said I should pay a 100 euro deposit. Unprofessional staff and terrible customer service. Madness and disappointment.

The hotel is right in the city centre, with lots of leisure activities nearby. The rooms and services are good for a very reasonable price, and room service was perfect. I had a great holiday and will definitely come back for my next vacation.

The location is the one good thing, and they don't deserve it. I own hospitality establishments and have never seen service this mediocre in a 4 star hotel. Dirty linens, poorly maintained units, empty shampoo and shower gel dispensers, and no toilet paper unless you ask, among other things. This place should be a 1 star hotel.

The sound insulation is awful. With the window shut, I could still clearly hear people chatting and laughing outside while trying to nap on the first night. The next morning, mowing started at 9 am and went on for about an hour, so my morning sleep was ruined too 😇. At times I could also hear things dropping on the floor in the room above us. Avoid this place if a good night's sleep matters to you.

Breakfast overlooking the ocean was a highlight, with an outstanding range of food and fruit. We also enjoyed the pool, which is the best feature of the NHOW. Our stay was pleasant, and we got an upgraded room with an ocean view, which I’d requested in advance.
