Golden Tulip Martigues Provence

We had a very spacious suite with a queen bed and sofa bed, which worked really well for our family and three young kids. Breakfast was top notch, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The only downside was looking straight onto the parking lot of the Renault garage next door. The restaurant on the fifth floor, though, has a fantastic view.

The reception staff were really friendly and helpful, and my room was lovely, especially the bathroom. Breakfast had everything you'd expect. For lunch or dinner, though, I'd eat somewhere nearby, since the food here wasn't worth the price. An English translation on the menu would also be helpful, especially these days. It's a good option if you can't find a hotel near the airport, and a nice place to stay if you want to be somewhat close to Marseille.

The area feels industrial, and I found getting around inconvenient without a car. Still, I'd choose this hotel again on a future trip. The staff were helpful, and the restaurant was nice, though it only opened on weekdays. At weekends they served food made on Friday. The hotel and rooms are new, but the unfinished feel was noticeable, with concrete visible in the room ceiling.

Reception was helpful, and the room was clean with a soft bed and pillows. The table and chair weren't very comfortable for working on a laptop.
