Breakfast was generous and really good, and the owners were both friendly and professional. The room had comfortable bedding and everything we needed. A very charming, pleasant hotel.

We took the host's suggestions for restaurants nearby and places to watch European bee-eaters, and they were spot-on. He was welcoming, pleasant, and keen to make sure his guests were happy. We spent three nights here over the May bank holiday weekend. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was decent and plentiful. The dusting let things down, especially underneath the bed, which hadn't been done at all. We'd gladly come back.

It was peaceful and the service was to a very high standard, so we'll happily return in September. The owner and her son gave us a wonderfully warm welcome when we came back to this charming, friendly hotel. Our room was inviting and comfortable, with complete amenities and pleasant decor. Breakfast, prepared by the owner, was plentiful, refined, exquisite, and exceptional in quality.
