Le Clos Près Chambord

The room was spotless, and the bedding was really good quality. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a homemade breakfast made with local products. Chambord is just a stone’s throw away, and Blois is easy to get to quickly. Highly recommended.

The regional products at breakfast were high quality, and there was plenty to enjoy. Our room was quiet and very clean, with a really comfortable bed. We also appreciated the secure parking. It’s a great base for exploring the area and visiting its many castles, and the welcome was very warm.

Christine is incredibly kind, and every morning she makes a homemade breakfast with local products, specialty breads, jams, and cakes. We didn’t get to try the small dinner she can offer if requested in advance, as the local butchers were closed on August 15th. The B&B feels like the perfect French home, with spacious shared areas and brand-new rooms that were welcoming and impeccably clean. It’s a special place, furnished with wonderful attention to detail. After a busy day exploring the Loire Valley, it’s ideal for unwinding. Chambord Castle is less than 3 km away, and Blois is just over 10 km away. Simply perfect. Highly recommended!

Christine and Philippe are wonderfully friendly and attentive hosts, and Christine makes a delicious breakfast every day with lots of surprises. The goat cheese from a local cheesemaker was exquisite. This beautiful B&B has a family-like atmosphere and is conveniently located near Chambord-en-Loire. You can go hiking or cycling, visit castles and gardens, explore local culture and wine cellars, and there are some wonderful restaurants nearby. It works well for both tourist and business trips.
