La Sensation

We booked one night through TripAdvisor in advance and paid 90 Euros. The first caravan we were shown was ancient, with no curtains or heating and a broken shower door. We turned down the portable heater they offered. The alternative was a little better, but the gas fire and cooker wouldn't light, there was hardly any bedding, and they had to give us a portable heater and a lighter for the hob. We reluctantly stayed because it was getting late. At 19:30, trying to use the microwave caused the power to fail. We had only our phone light, and spent a freezing, uncomfortable night with no food or hot drink. Nobody was on site to help. It was one of the worst nights we've ever had, and we couldn't wait to leave. They clearly weren't prepared for guests and shouldn't have accepted the booking. The owner offered a full refund after we complained, but a month later it still hadn't arrived and the owner ignored our emails. Thank goodness we'd booked through TripAdvisor, which kindly refunded us.

A great spot for fishing, and a nice place all around. Nothing to complain about.

Really excellent.

The managers were friendly and welcoming, and the campsite had a warm atmosphere with plenty of activities. We stayed three nights on a caravan pitch tucked between beautifully maintained ponds, and the sanitary facilities were spotless. The restaurant served generous portions at affordable prices, with a great selection of ice cream too. I highly recommend this campsite.
