After a day of cycling, this was just the kind of luxurious place we needed to rest. We had lovely views across the landscape from our bedroom, and enjoyed wandering through the gardens. The welcome was so warm, breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and having a sitting room for tea and board games was a real treat. The extraordinary château has been restored with such care and taste as a family home and wedding venue, with a few exquisite guest rooms.

I really enjoyed strolling around the gardens, and the lady of the house was especially friendly and gracious. Breakfast was amazing, with everything you could want, and there’s a sitting room everyone can enjoy. One of the best château stays I’ve had, with superb rooms. Don’t pass up this maison d' hotes.
