Le Mazet Chambre d'Hôtes

I only passed through briefly, so unfortunately I didn't get to see the pool. Still, the little room was superb and welcoming, and the place felt magical. I recommend it to everyone.

We return every year for business trips, always with pleasure and anticipation. Le Mazet is the place we look forward to coming back to. The owners are lovely and attentive, and the welcome is excellent. The pool and jacuzzi are pure bliss. I’ve seen negative comments in earlier reviews and really don’t understand them. You’re doing everything perfectly, so please don’t change a thing.

The owner was very welcoming, but I was really disappointed with the service for what we paid, especially with my children there. We booked the cottage for two nights at the owner's suggestion, even though we'd first looked at photos of the bed and breakfast. We might have been better off choosing that. The cottage costs €30 more per night, for a 15-20 square meter room. There’s a bunk bed in one corner and a sofa bed, if it even qualifies as one, in the middle. At the far end is a long, narrow kitchen with decent equipment. There’s also a small bathroom with a toilet, but no towel warmer. For a cottage, I understand that some things may not be provided, but there weren’t even basic supplies like salt or oil, a bin bag, paper towels, or a few coffee capsules. We paid extra for sheets, yet the beds weren’t made when we arrived. For the price, that felt like too much. Cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. Don't bother looking under the furniture.

The rooms were lovely, very clean, and beautifully decorated. A fantastic guesthouse, with an incredibly welcoming and accommodating host.
