The room was clean and lovely, and the staff responded quickly whenever I needed something. The cleaning lady and the young woman who also helps at breakfast were especially kind. Sorry, I’ve forgotten their names, and I’m not sure if the young woman is the cleaning lady’s daughter. It’s a small hotel with good soundproofing. There were children staying nearby, but I could only hear them in the corridor, and I slept comfortably. The beach is literally a two-minute walk away, so I could go back and forth to my room whenever I wanted. I was a little unsure about booking because of the reviews here, but my stay turned out to be really nice. It wasn’t the most luxurious place I’ve stayed, and I’ve stayed in plenty, haha, but I’ll definitely come back next year.

The outside looks cute, and the setting really is nice, but the rooms let it down. Simple, authentic accommodation is fine by me; this felt neglected for no reason. Some of the furniture was cheap and dirty, the mattresses were old and broken and made sleeping difficult, and there were holes all over the walls. A bit of refurbishing could make it very nice, but I wouldn’t return as it is now.

The price and quality are hard to match, and breakfast with warm croissants was great. I’d gladly come back. I’m quite frustrated by the negative reviews. Maybe those guests expected a five-star hotel and forgot what they paid. The host was incredible, always available, very polite, and well mannered.

We had a great holiday here. The rooms are small but cosy, and the staff are friendly. We made good use of the little garden in front of our room, and breakfast was very good.
