Le Mas Des Marguerites

Aurélie & Fred were charming, helpful hosts and made the stay a pleasure. This little hotel has clearly been thought through down to the details. We’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area, and we’ll definitely come back. Fabulous, thank you.

The peaceful garden was lovely, and we really appreciated how quiet everything was. The pool was clean and nice, though still a little cold for swimming in May. Aurelie and Cedric made us feel at home and gave us helpful ideas for trips. We stayed four nights in May and had a great time. The location is central in the Alpilles, about a five-minute drive from Les Baux-de-Provence. Our spacious room had a mezzanine, a good bathroom, and everything we needed, including coffee, tea, and a fridge. We’d definitely recommend staying here, and the surrounding area is wonderful too.

The pool is right by the room, which was convenient. Isabelle and Bruno looked after us perfectly. The room was excellent, and breakfast was very good and tasty. A perfect base for getting to know Provence.

We had the Cigale room, which was spacious, with a living area downstairs and the bedroom on a mezzanine. When we arrived, the owners welcomed us and brought us a glass of juice on our room balcony. Breakfast was lovely and varied each day: baguettes, pain au chocolat, croissants, homemade jam, scrambled eggs, coffee, and more. They were keen to help us plan our days, with ideas for restaurants, towns, and shops, and we found places we might otherwise have missed. We were there in November, so the cold weather meant we didn't get to try the pool. Shops and restaurants are nearby, and the classic little French towns, along with Avignon, Arles, Aix-en-Provence, and Marseille, are an easy drive away. A great experience from beginning to end. I'd gladly return.
