We slept so well here, probably better than anywhere else on the trip. After the long drive from the Bordeaux area, this was our last night before catching the ferry home, and the quiet location and wonderfully comfortable bed were just what we needed. Le Château du Breuil is breathtaking. The house is immaculate and beautifully kept, with thoughtful decor that respects its age and history. Our host was professional, friendly, and genuinely kind, and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. In the morning, we woke refreshed to a beautifully laid out breakfast, and the whole visit felt welcoming and carefully considered. We both loved our time here and will definitely return. What a shame we only had one night here. The location is wonderful, and the chateau and surrounding park are full of charming details that show how much the hosts care. Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. Don’t miss dinner, it was exceptional. This place deserves six stars.

It was a really pleasant stay, and I’d recommend it. The quiet, green surroundings were just as we’d hoped, and the interiors have a lovely eye for detail. The hosts are welcoming and make sure you can properly relax. It felt like an experience unlike one I’d had before.

The rooms are decorated with real care and follow the period style throughout. Breakfast is tasty and generous, and the hosts are friendly. This beautifully restored castle now operates as a B&B on a 16-hectare estate with 12 stables. It’s 25 km from Tours.

The breakfast was a real treat, fresh and very generous. We also loved our spacious, spotless room and the château’s colorful, tasteful interior, which gave the place a warm, distinctive feel. From the moment we arrived, the very friendly host greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. A beautiful forest surrounds the castle, giving it a fairytale feel. The host suggested visiting Langeais, about a 10-minute drive away. We enjoyed the cozy restaurants there and the impressive castle in the town center. We thoroughly enjoyed the overnight stay. A solid 10 from us, with hospitality, peace, and beauty all coming together.
