The bedrooms were immaculate and the Chateau was beautifully tidy for our guests. Everyone was blown away by the building and its gardens, and Maartje and Ian made us feel so welcome over the wedding weekend. The day itself was discussed with us beforehand, and they checked that we had everything we needed. Maartje was there throughout the planning, answering our questions and helping however she could. We spoke very little French, which made dealing with French suppliers challenging, so her help with translating was a real comfort. She also suggested contacts for flowers, fireworks, hair and makeup, and other parts of the wedding. Château de Maulmont is an utterly beautiful, magical setting for a wedding. From beginning to end, it was the best weekend of our lives. My face hurt from smiling by the end! We can't thank Maartje and Ian enough for giving us more than we could have hoped for. If I could afford to renew our vows every year, I'd come back again and again.

My couple were thrilled with their destination wedding at Chateau de Maulmont. They loved the rooms and the venue, and were so grateful for Maartje's kindness and help arranging everything. For a wedding venue in France, this beautiful place has it all. Highly recommend!

This Chateau is one of those places that stays with you. I first came in 2013, when I was eight going on nine, on a surprise trip with my mother. It was my first time abroad, and I still remember that happiness, eating my first crepe and watching clouds move over the pastures from our balcony. The sunrise was the most breathtaking I've ever seen. It's such a special place to make memories with people you love. I can't really describe how amazing it is. Definitely a bucket list place, I highly recommend visiting!
