Ibis Styles Meaux Centre Hotel

We were disappointed with our stay. The location was great, but the family room felt too small, and breakfast was only average in our view. We were also charged more on arrival than the quoted price, so booking through booking.com would actually have cost less than using the members page.

Breakfast had a nice range of options, including cheese, jam, salami and eggs, and the young woman at reception was very friendly. Parking is available by reservation for 7 euros a day. Our room was the downside: we were traveling with two children, and it was small, had no balcony on that side, and smelled awful. We left it aired out all day, but the smell stayed really bad. I’d recommend it for a short 2-3 day trip, and would come back if I travel to Paris again.

We chose this basic hotel for the night before Disneyland and had no complaints. Breakfast had a good selection, and Disney is just a 15-20 minute drive away. I’d stay here again.

The café is large and serves breakfast, which was included, as well as drinks and food. My room was nicely heated, with a large comfortable bed and a view over the river. The reception staff and housekeepers were all very nice. As a Platinum member, I was disappointed that my free drink voucher covered a €5 beer but not a glass of wine at the same price, so I chose a €3.50 bottle of mineral water instead. I hope they change that.
