Getting into Megève was easy, either on foot or using the shuttle, which we found hugely useful. The drivers were brilliant, punctual, friendly and happy to help. My wife and I stayed at Le Chalet Megève for a week, and everyone there was helpful, friendly and attentive from start to finish. Our room was lovely and spacious, with beautiful decor that suited the hotel’s stylish, welcoming design. Housekeeping and room service were excellent throughout. We didn’t eat in the main restaurant, but breakfast and room service were absolutely fine and up to a good standard. It’s a comfortable, high-quality hotel with excellent service and a great location. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The service was the real highlight: everyone was friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere felt relaxed, almost like a family. The team have worked together for years, and it shows. Ilijana was especially helpful, suggesting lovely walks and arranging reservations at great local restaurants. The hotel is just above the centre of Megeve, close enough to walk in, with beautiful views over the village and mountains. We were extraordinarily generously upgraded to a spectacular principal suite, though the Prestige room we’d booked also looked well proportioned and appointed. The modern 'French alpine' decor was pretty, and everything was spotless. Since it was summer, the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner, but breakfast was excellent, with fresh quality ingredients and some of the best-cooked eggs we’ve had in France. The spa is small but very high quality. We’ll be back!

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly with excellent customer service. There’s a free shuttle around the city of Megeve every day from 8am to 11pm.

The service was probably the best we’ve ever experienced, from valet and concierge to the restaurant and spa. We felt at home as soon as we came in, and the interior design was lovely and completely our style, with neutral colors, varied textures and high-quality furnishings. The location is peaceful and quiet, just a little way out of town but still very walkable. Being able to message for anything, from hot tea water in the room to reservations, valet pickup or a ride to the slopes, was so convenient, and they responded quickly.
