Karen and Quentin made our stay especially memorable. They cooked lovely breakfasts, took great care of us, and shared useful ideas for exploring the area. My fiancée and I spent last July at Maison Anderetea, in a beautifully restored house with sweeping views across the Basque countryside. Our room was very large and comfortable, and the location was just right. The place really reflects the character and charm of the Basque country. We’d gladly return and recommend spending a few days there.

Breakfast was delicious, with local treats like sheep’s cheese, ham, crêpes, and homemade jam. Freddy welcomed us warmly and gave us excellent tips for discovering the region. We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse at the foot of Baigura. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and part of a traditional Basque house. Freddy has taken over from his father Quentin with real kindness and grace. We’ll be back soon. Thanks for making us feel so welcome, Freddy!

Our August 3rd to 7th stay was a great experience. Maison Anderetea is a high-quality bed and breakfast, with a beautifully renovated Basque house and spacious, comfortable rooms equipped with everything we needed. Quentin gave us a warm welcome and paid attention to how the stay was going. He could suggest local restaurants to suit what we liked. Breakfasts were generous, varied, and carefully put together. There were different muffins and smoothies each day, as well as homemade bread. Quentin was inventive and happy to adapt things to everyone's tastes. That made this an exceptional place to stay.
