We spent the whole afternoon there catching up with old friends, so the slow service didn’t bother us much. I can’t tell how much of the wait was down to us and how much to them, though it’s probably not the spot for a quick stop. The food was fantastic, and the garden is really lovely.

The omelette norvégienne, or baked Alaska, was magnifique, and the staff were friendly. The rest of the food let us down, though, and the menu could use a refresh.

The proprietors were friendly, the food was great, and our room was huge and beautifully decorated. Definitely recommend it.
