The lemon dessert was pretty good, but I expected more from the food after seeing the Michelin signs. My fish soufflé was dry and bland. The restaurant has a lovely setting and great views from the tables, though it was very quiet when we visited in April. The only other guests went out to smoke right by our window, and I thought it was odd that the waiter allowed that. It was an OK meal, and I imagine the place gets livelier in a busier season.

Even though Expedia had confirmed our booking and sent a confirmation code, the clerk rudely said there were no rooms. He blamed an Expedia mistake, but late in the day the hotel looked completely empty, with no cars in the car park.

We had a really nice stay in a rural spot up on the mountain. The family-run restaurant served good food, and the service was good too.

We came across the old arches while hiking in a torrential downpour, and they welcomed us so warmly. A huge thank you for all the kindness and generosity. The dessert was excellent.
