I appreciated how early breakfast starts, at 4:30 am, since I had a very early flight. The buffet was a pleasant surprise, with a good range of choices. There’s no restaurant open at night, but you can buy a pizza at reception, which I didn’t try, or walk a few metres to one of the many nearby restaurants. The hotel is very close to the airport and has free parking. My room was simple, warm and practical, and very clean. I didn’t hear anything, thanks to the good sound insulation. A handy, comfortable place with good value for money, which I’d recommend.

I’ve stayed here several times, and the staff have always been kind and attentive. Breakfast has plenty of choice, the bed was very comfortable, and the hotel is beautifully clean. I also really enjoyed the pizza, which was just what I needed. It’s well placed for the airport and, in my opinion, excellent value for money.

The staff were lovely and the location is great, but the place feels very old and worn, and it wasn’t especially clean. Basic doesn’t have to mean this shabby. There are much better hotels from the same budget brand in Bordeaux city. This one needs renovating.

The reception staff were very welcoming, and I couldn’t hear planes at night because the soundproofing was excellent. My room was clean and basic, with a good shower, though the bed felt a little hard to me. For one night, it was a very good hotel and good value.

This was my third stay at Ibis Budget Bordeaux Airport. The rooms have always been clean, comfortable and quiet, and the staff friendly and helpful. You can walk to the airport or take the tram.
